Monthly Retainer Service

A monthly retainer means you have access to ongoing HR support, allowing us to form a close working relationship and provide the exact services you require, month to month. This may include, but is not limited to:

 

- Advising on all HR matters, as and when they arise (e.g. probationary reviews, long-term sick, setting employee KPIs)

- Supporting implementation of new HR software

- Interpreting and reporting on your HR software data

- Supporting the roll-out of staff engagement and reward strategies

- Providing bespoke templates to help with processes

- Reviewing your completed templates

- Quarterly strategy discussions

 

Your monthly investment will vary depending on the support you require.

Can you improve our employee productivity? 

Yes! A great HR strategy isn’t just about ‘getting rid of people’ or ‘cleaning up a mess’. We have decades of experience in advising on employee engagement initiatives, which are proven to increase productivity and staff satisfaction. 

I only have a handful of employees, do I still need HR? 

Even with a small number of employees, you can benefit hugely from tailored HR support. If you plan on growing your team, it’s essential to develop clear and legally sound processes that can stick with you, as you scale. This avoids HR headaches further down the line, as you expand! 

Can you fill out the paperwork for me?

We often provide tailored templates and guide you through filling them out yourself. However, when it comes to drafting complex letters and policy documents, it may be more beneficial for us to write them for you with your input and agreement. Every client is different, so we always work on a case-by-case basis to decide what approach works best for your business. 

Can you take my place in disciplinaries and other meetings?

No. But we can ‘sit in’ to guide and support you when running meetings. If needed, we also coach you (or your line managers) on exactly how to conduct each type of meeting. So you’ll always feel knowledgeable and confident in your own abilities to follow the proper process.

I don’t directly employ people – would your coaching services still be helpful for me?

A. Yes absolutely, everything starts with community and while you might not have direct employees, you will no doubt work alongside stakeholders and managing those relationships come with their own challenges.  Our expertise lies in working with people and our coaching services help you explore a whole range of challenges that might not just be about people. Coaching starts with a conversation, and we would love to hear more about what keeps you up at night, in order to help you find solutions that are right for you. 

I don’t know what training I require but I would love to support my management team in managing our employees – can you tell me more?

We would love to discuss what your need is. Training isn’t always the solution but we always have a discovery call and understand what gaps exist. We support with training in a range of management techniques and theories, and we also train in the legislation that governs the employment relationship. We also offer 1:1 coaching if that method of facilitation will be more impactful for your management teams.
